I stayed in the open-bath room and western style room during my stay in Gora Ichinoyu. Both rooms were comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly through they did not know english well. The food there were great. I would highly recommend those couples who wish to have romantic and comfortable stay in Hakone.

This is modern ryoken style accommodation conveniently located close to transport, museums and parks. As a westerner it was a slightly challenging but worthwhile experience. We particularly enjoyed our private hot tub (onsen). The food was excellent. The staff reserved but polite.
