We stayed two nights and it felt like we were there for days.. a really memorable experience. This Ryokan is very traditional, the building National Trust listed, beautiful internal gardens, looking over a fast flowing river. It is everything you imagine 'old' Japan to have been. We have just returned from an oovernight stay at the Fukuzumiro Ryokan. It was a terrific experience.
