Great hotel with direct access to many shopping malls, underground arcade, yokohama station, and many local restaurants and izakaya. Rooms are nothing special but very clean and spacious. Our room had a nice view towards the bay. Only downside is that they don't have a business center. When I asked where the business center is, and they gave me a... more

Compared to a typical Japanese business hotel the Sheraton is exceptional. By Japanese standards the Sheraton has relatively big and well appointed rooms (and fairly spacious western style bathrooms), the nicest and most thorough housekeeping I have ever come across and a great central location straight across from Yokohama train station. It was a welcome relief to come back to... more

I stayed at this hotel in June and in September 2008 for a week each time. The location is very good, right next to Yokohama Station. However, the hotel has seen its best days and needs some upgrades. The air condition did not work well in the summer and the room felt and smelt damp all the time. It was... more

While the location of the property is excellent (just outside Yokohama Station - can connect you to pretty much any line), the rooms are small, and a non-smoking room means they take the ashtray out. The room smelled like fish the whole time, and the linens felt worn. For the price I would've expected more. more

Location: Hotel is located in the center of Yokohama city. Very close to the main shopping area and the dining/nightlife area. It is connected to center train station and subway center. There is a big shopping center next the the hotel which has one of the larger electrical shop. Very good location. Room: Typical japanese hotel room size, clean, and... more

My husband and I just got back from a week in the Yokohama Bay Sheraton. My husband has stayed in this hotel on two other occasions for business and stayed in the larger of their rooms. For this trip we got a small size room, but had an expansive view of the city from the 25th floor. The hotel is... more

I've stayed several times at the Sheraton on business and have been very satisfied every stay. With my business rate I get free internet access and health club access which is a real treat. The hotel has a great pool and spa area. The staff are always very gracious and helpful, eager to assist in any way. The rooms are... more

I don't see what gets this hotel such great reviews. It's okay, but has good and bad like most hotels. The location is good and the staff are very friendly. However, there are downsides: The rooms are pretty small. The swimming pool is very expensive. Even if you just want to use the pool, you have to pay the fitness... more

I have stayed at the Yokohama Bay Sheraton on a business trips several times over the past 2 years. It is a very nice facility with very friendly people. The hotel connects directly to shopping malls and the train station so everything is within walking distance. The room was small (typical in Japan), but was very clean. The breakfast buffet... more

This hotel is wonderful. It is new and from the moment you walk in, you are politely greeted by the bellhop staff and the front desk. Our room with 2 double beds featured a large screen plasma TV, and the lavatory featured a walk-in shower closet. The housekeeping staff cleans your room excellently, and the beds are comfortable. This hotel... more
