The facilities in this hostel were incredibly clean; this building is still very new and there are hardly any signs of wear anywhere at this hostel. The rooms, hallways, bathrooms, etc smelled very nice too. Our room was very small (it fit two people with their mats on the floor and that was it), but hey, you get what you pay for, right? The only main qualm I had about the room was the lack of an elevator - we stayed on the 5th floor and it was difficult to carry 2 week's worth of luggage up five flights of stairs.
Service was good here, the location is nice too in that it's close to Chinatown, great for if you're planning to visit this area. However, the hostel's direct vicinity is a neighborhood entirely consisting of senior citizens that often stared at us "youngin's" in interest, disapproval, or curiosity, depending on how you may dress (I just thought it was a little strange until I learned the history of the district).
