My husband and I stayed here for two nights in early nov 2012. We found the welcome warm and the people kind and helpful despite a langage barrier. I travelled to this ryokan in early October. The view from this elevated location was beautiful. The noise from the street below was non-existent. There is a steakhouse touching the parking area. Parking is convenient and free. Extremely close to the Nikko National Park (UNESCO). Many shops in the vicinity, especially one quaint little ramen shop. Great offerings, no robbery.... More
