A lovely traditional inn by the river side. Rooms quite basic and bit bland but the location makes up for it. Lovely onsen at the inn with hot spring which is delightful to use and can be done so privately. Highly recommended as a place to stay in Nikko more

We stayed two nights and were very satisfied with the accommodations. Our rooms each had two beds and a sink with a bathroom down the hall. The showers and baths were very nice but often had a wait. Arrived late in Nikko and needed somewhere to stay. Would not recommend this place at all. The room was damp, cold and the bathroom was absolutely tiny. There are other more comfortable places to stay in Nikko. more
