This no-frills hotel is about 4 minutes walk from the JR Nara Stn. Only willing to issue one key despite two guests. Very small room, below average-sized Japanese style "box" bathroom, almost none of the toiletry amenities that are standard in most Japanese hotels (besides shampoo, conditioner, soap). I should have know when they made me pay for the full stay when I checked in. This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. The mattress was lumpy and very old, the room was tiny, there was not one drawer of cubby to put anything into. It was in the 80s and they refused to turn on... more
