The hotel smells of cigarettes smoke the minute you step into the foyer. If you smoke, then this is the hotel to book. They should have an enclosed room for smokers in the foyer so that other guests are not affected. Smoking floor is really not suitable for non smoker. It's a good hotel, nice rooms (not very big but in Japan even rooms in houses are small!), very clean and nice sushi restaurant downstairs. No room service and very few people speak English!!! Even at the reception they can't speak English. Otherwise nice people working at the hotel...if you're able to communicate!! more
