Very nice owners, authentic family-run ryokan. Staff very friendly, location very convenient. Upon leaving we were given a beautiful postcard of the wood carvings that the owners make themselves. Clean, friendly staff that spoke excellent english, excellently loctaed from all in Nara. Japanese hot spa, small but clean and I was always the only one there!!! I spent 1 night last november and I think, it was the best ryokan that I've stayed in all Japan. The owner is kind, the ryokan is clean, very japanese, I highly recommend this place. more
