Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I agree with recent reviews. This hotel is very central, being opposite the Takamatsu JR station. There are no breakfasts but you can have this at the rail station. Like someone else we had a room with three beds which meant one step from bed to toilet. There is pay parking close by although we needed to collect our car fairly early, otherwise presumably we would have had to pay for another day. Fortunately one of our family is Japanese as I doubt whether any English is spoken. That said, the hotel is conveniently situated, the price was reasonable and the room was warm and clean.

Located just opposite to JR takamatsu station, very easy to found. We stayed at triple room which is very small. One step from toilet to bed. But it is well-equipped with all essentials. It is recommended for people who needs to stay near station or the pier.

Book 2 days here, coz close to Kotoden n Takamatsu JR station. Only check in after 1700, for capsule u need to check out by 1200, even u book few day. Free locker from small to large size available outside capsule, but u need to insert 100yen to lock, get ur money back when unlock, same with the shoe locker, no shoe in capsule area. For 20" or larger suicase user that stay more than 1 night, ur bag only fix the large locker, when c the locker r free, lock inside even during night coz everyone can use the locker included outsider n the room check out customer. Capsule room come with a smoking room, 2x toilet, 2x bathroom, 3x washing sink, a long table for PC w plug n lan internet access. Capsule wifi r fast, the computer outside capsule without chair r free to startup with fast internet access too. Bcoz capsule r place in longitude position, is a little difficult to go in silently for a big guy. All area in capsule r clean without any smell. Towel place in the capsule, bath rope next to the table. There r a few good restaurants on the right hand side of the hotel, there r 2 u can get some discount with ur room key.

1) no passport is required for this place, feeling very secure for starters 2) the bed literally sunks. Either you sleep and hurt your back like hell or you don't sleep 3) the bathroom smells. Now this is an unusual experience in Japan. With a country so clean, this is clearly a first. Not all is lost, the hotel is VERY conveniently located. Within 1min from the JR station Takamatsu, various convenient stores and 4min to the ferry pier. **no check in before 17h00** In conclusion: for your ultimate non-Japan-like experience in Japan, you'll need to stay at this hotel.

I booked this hotel because everything was fully booked in Takamatsu. The hotel is very close to the train station and a big supermarket. But the check inn is only at 5pm, there are some lockers but they were full and even in the morning when we left at 8am, very strange. There was also a guy sleeping on the sofa, when we arrived, not during the check inn and when we left in the morning and he was not from security… I felt not so secure. The room is quite old, very dark and a bit smelly. There is internet via cable, a tv, a fridge and a very old aircon. For the same price there are much better hotels.
