Well what can we say about TBBC that hasnt already been said! From the moment we arrived we were treated in an excellent manner. The staff here are the most friendliest we have ever encounted. They all make time in their day to stop and have a chat and ask you what you have planned for the day etc and... more

Arrived at TBBC to warm wet flannels & a refreshing drink - this was very much appreciated after been on a bus for 2 hours. Check in was quick & very relaxed - no queing, filled out forms & had wrist bands fitted whilst sitting relaxing with drink. Shown to room - had Lamu room overlooking the new adult only... more

This was my 14th trip to TBBC and I would recommend it over and over again to anyone. The staff are fantastic and it's like being part of one big happy family. It's a great hotel and the surrounding area of Watamu, Timboni and Gede are lovely. The people just want to come and say hi and get to know... more

I have stayed in the past at Watamu Beach Hotel (now burned down) and in Malindi at Scorpio Villas (also had a fire!) but Turtle Bay beats them both by far. I was wary of the "all inclusive" approach, and the place is not cheap, but having spent new year there all i can say is it was the nearest... more

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 weeks at TBBC in Watamuin August 2009, booked through Thomsons. The hotel itself is set in very scenic grounds and being smaller than other all- inclusive resorts we've been to, was much more personable. THe service throughout was virtually faultless - all staff always happy and genuinely pleased to see you. The bedrooms were adequate... more
