Wow! That's all I can say about this beautiful, unique, exquisite, eco-friendly luxury camp. My husband and I stayed here for two nights in March, and were treated to service, food and accomodations that rivaled any five-star hotel, in a setting that blended in perfectly with the surroundings and left no pollution or human footprint in the natural wilderness that surrounds it.
The camp is situated on a river (although we went during a drought, and the river was dry). Vervet monkeys and hornbills played in the trees above the "tents" (not really an accurate word for the beautiful screened-in rooms, overhung by thatched rooftops), and a large troop of baboons entertained us with their antics on the other side of the river. Our guide, Bernard, was not only extremely knowledgeable about all of the wildlife, but also funny and smart, with English language skills that surpassed those of most of the population of the US.
