We stayed at Sarova Game lodge for 2 nights during our honeymoon. The hotel was gorgeous as was our room, very reasonably sized with the river right beyond the patio area at the back. The Sarova Shaba was an amazing place. The rooms were built in treehouse like buildings. We were in room 12a upstairs, it was huge and beautiful. The view of the river was great. We would watch the huge storks and crocodiles on the river banks, while the vervet monkeys played in the trees. The pool area was great and refreshing... more

Came late in the afternoon after a long drive from Nairobi. Too late for an afternoon game drive. But the staff were waiting for us and had ready a very welcomed moist towel and a wonderful late lunch.
