A quiet tranqil hotel, built, one get's the impression, for a different time. The hotel is a massive place. Whilst the breakfast needed a bit more thought the surroundings of the hotel were pleasent and staff were braodly amiable. more

As the previous reviewer pointed out, it is a lovely place but the service is shockingly bad from the "Ya" answers you get from the receptionist on the phone when trying to book to the General manager himself who clearly does not want to be inconvenienced by his guests complaints. We stayed at this hotel because we were in Lebanon for a friends wedding in Broummana. There is no denying the Grandeur of this hotel and the spectacular views of beautiful Lebanon from the very well appointed pool and the "panoramic lift". This 5 star hotel and spa is located near the village of Broumana, about 1/2 an hour's taxi ride from Beirut. It is undoubtedly a 5 star establishment from the view point of the rooms, location (stunning views) and the spa and gym facilities. Where it fell down was the high price of the restaurants - far better to eat... more
