This is a big Tourist hotel in the resort area of Beirut suburbs, near the Casino of the Lebanon.

Our stay was divided into two halfs - the accomodation and the food.

The accomodation was excellent - really nice big comfortable rooms and well serviced and with a good view. The IT internet access was useless though, suggesting that it's not really trying to get business travellers. For a getaway, that's great but if you want to work, forget it.

The food was poor, apart from breakfast which was acceptable. If you want to eat, go out into the town because, even if a decent waiter was to be found in the afternoon and evening, the food is poor, by any standards.

Having said all this, its a friendly hotel and one where we were always made welcome - I think, maybe, we came out of season (September) and things might pick up, food wise, in the summer when it, hopefully, gets a bit busier. more
