We, a Dutch couple, went in September to Foxhill and stayed there for a week. We had a very good time in Foxhill. Margie the owner took very good care of us and she asked us always: what time do you want breakfast and every day it was ready at the right time and it was also a very good breakfast. The resort is small (only three houses) but we liked that very much because it felt like a private resort. Margie told us a lot about the island and she did everything to make us feel at home. The atmosphere is very relaxing and there are a lot of things to do in Langkawi. Margie can arrange all sorts of excursions and trips for very good prices because she has a lot of connections on the island. If you are looking for a 5 star resort then look further, but if you are looking for a relaxing and very friendly atmosphere in a very nice Malay house, than Foxhill is the right place to be. We booked again a trip in March 2008 and we are looking forward to see Margie and the rest of the staff... more
