I booked 2 units of 2-bedroom apartment for a 3D2N stay from 22/12 - 24/12. At the time of reservation I was informed the price was RM280/- each. But upon checked in I was informed the net price is RM322-00 i.e. inclusive of service charge RM28-00 & govt. tax of RM14-00. The information was not properly given at the time... more

Ipoh is not a town with incredible choices of 5 star hotels. Most are mediocre. I have stayed at Heritage, Syuen, Excelsior, Casuarina and even had a glimpse into the rooms at Regalodge. All of these named hotels offer nothing more than mediocre. At least Regalodge has had an uplift and recently refurbished their rooms. If you have children travelling... more

I was booked into the hotel for 5 nights for my first business trip to Ipoh, but apart from the location and room size the hotel did not have much going for it. The office that I was visiting was located within the same tower as the hotel which was very handy. The door staff were very welcoming and could... more

I am a hotel guest and I had just returned from a hearty dinner. I had barely sat down a few minutes in the louge area - where there was a life band -when I was rudely told to vacate by a waiter because I needed time to order a drink. Is this how a good hotle treats geusts? more

As it is new, time will be needed for this hotel's staff to realise that a good hotel is one which takes its guests seriously. Enquiries / feedback must be answered seriously and politely. Below was my experience. Our questions and requests at the reception were answered by a male (Chinese looking) receptionist. He did not give a sense of... more

I'm staying in an apartment in this hotel.. I'm not sure about other hotels because i'm not really a travel-all-around person, but this hotel i hav tons of comments.. At first glance, the apartment is nice, two bedrooms, two bathrooms(one with shower, another with tub) n living room.. but then, here comes the bad part.. the bedroom door(sliding door) cannot... more

This is my third visit to this hotel after its opening in January. I have had expected to see great improvements after my previous visit four months ago, but it turned out to a big disappointment. As a matter of fact, it was exactly the opposite. It got worse. I have stayed at many hotels in Malaysia, and have never... more

Waited over an hour and half to be shown my room (told the wait would be 5 minutes). During my one night stay one of the staff broke into my room and stole some cash from my backpack which i had left there while i went out wandering. This on top of the fact that the bed had dirty sheets... more
