I stayed at the Casuarina recently, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and large, and the bathroom had a big shower cubicle. The food was good, and the pub was pleasant and had live music. All in all, the hotel was better than other hotels in Ipoh such as the Heritage and the Syuen, and was a good choice.
