We had a terrible experience with this hotel. Requested for early check-in, was not acted on, called them when we reached Penang, they tld us that they wld call us back but did not. CArpets around the hotel have not been changed for 10 years....Check in took about 45 minutes and we finally did at 3pm... We had drinks @ 2pm and when we went out and back 8pm the glasses were still there House keeping was pretty slow 2 Good location and they give free water bottles more

Stayed one night and wasn't exited by it but probably good value for money. The bathroom had the charm of the early 70s and the room was just ok. Wouldn't want to spend more days of vacation here but rather pay some more and look for something better (or less and then with more character in the historical district). more

We chose this hotel because of its good reputation on internet. Though, no doubt, the hotel was located in a strategic place and easy-to-reach hawker market and Komtar. The best thing about this hotel was the location. It is at the heart of the city, everything is pretty much walking distance from it. Komtar plaza is just 10 min away.
