I reserved 4 rooms for a Rotary convention at this hotel through Agoda. My 6 other friends made a reservation through a local travel agency. We were a total of 14 people. The front desk personnel spoke very little English. They did not seem to understand what the Agoda Travel Voucher was, despite our reservation being on their system. Although... more

Hotel is located close to the waterfront and to shops. We stayed 5 nites. Room service is not good. We requested for an extra chair in the spacious room but it never came although we spoke to the manager twice! He apologised and made up for the slip-up by allowing us a very late checkout at 4pm! more

The hotel staff were hospitable, friendly and made my stay there a great pleasure. The standard room is fairly small, however it is neat and sufficient, with comfortable beds, tv, wardrobe and bathroom. A bath tub would have made it even more better. There were a variety of food to choose from for breakfast. The view we had was nice,... more

The best thing about this hotel is, it is very well located amongst all the shopping and bustles of a city. We had our foot massage 5 mins walk away and dinner and just round the corner another heaps of eateries. The hotel room is nice and comfortable. It is definitely more than basic. However, the service crew needs to... more

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to Centre Point Shopping Centre, the waterfront and many eating outlets however, we found the service and housekeeping a bit of a let down. On a daily basis we had to chase up housekeeping for towels and toilet paper which they continuously forgot to supply, our room was missing furniture... more

We stayed at the Imperial International hotel as part of our honeymoon. We were going to be diving for about a week (we went diving with Borneo Dream - highly recommended!) so getting a resort with a beach wasn't our priority. This hotel turned out to be a real gem - very clean, spacious, fantastic location (just opposite the best... more

My husband and I were in KK for 8 days in Mar09 and we stayed in 4 hotels - Jesselton, Gayana, Mercure and Imperial International. Do read my review of each as all offered something different. Our story : - As my title suggests, the location is the best thing of this hotel. In terms of shopping and eating, it... more

We checked into the Imperial International Hotel over the Easter holiday weekend in April 2009. Located at the heart of Kota Kinabalu's major shopping and dining belts, the hotel was a perfect place in terms of location. However, the service of the front office staffs leave much to be desired. Check in took more than 20 minutes to process even... more

This hotel offers an amazing open bay view of the waterfront area of Kota Kinabalu. That is about where this hotel ends in above average features. The staffs were very pleasant and friendly and I would guess that for Asian visitors of average means this hotel would be a real "nice place" however, having stayed in many international 4 and... more
