We spent our first day in Sabah in Kundasang area and we stayed in Hotel Perkasa (formerly known as Kinabalu Heritage Hotel) at the foot of Mount Kinabalu. This hotel is divided in 2 sections - Main Hotel with normal hotel rooms and chalet type rooms. We stayed in the normal room type in the main section.

Very basic hotel providing accommodation near to Mt. Kinabalu - we stayed for one night prior to climbing Mt. Kinabalu and for a stop over it was acceptable, just.
