After a night at the North Borneo Cabin, we moved to the Stay-In Lodge since it was cheaper and it seemed to have more amenities. We stayed for 3 nights and got it for 50 ringgits a night but of course had to pay in full up front. The rooms looked ok so we went for it. The first night we were in a room on the same floor as the reception. It was very noisy and we constantly smelled cigarette smoke from the lobby. We moved the next day but of course all they had available was up on the fourth floor - usually I am not opposed to exercise but it was just so hot that you felt four flights of stairs for sure. The second room had a double bed and a bunk bed but the bed in each room was ok.

There was free internet but no breakfast (which was fine because we were tired of toast anyways). We got our laundry done there and lots of items came back dirty - seemed like the clothesline had dust on it because all the items were dark clothes with dusty lines on them.
