Reasonably located but not the better (North) end of town, aiming probably at the business client. Ok for tourists looking for a seemingly scarce KK hotel pitched between the cheap backpacker and very expensive resort sectors. The first room had dirty sheets and smelled of stale smoke but the complaint led immediately to a change of room which was OK.... more

My wife, our baby and myself stayed the last few days of December in the King Park hotel. I fully agree with the previous review. As many people are asking at various web-fora whether to stay in the King Park hotel or in the Best Western Kinabalu Daya hotel, we also stayed in the latter one (see other review) and... more

This hotel hosts a mix of male business travelers and tourists. It is on the far side of town against the hills and away from the waterfront, but it only takes about 10 minutes to walk there. There is a park nearby, and the shared taxi stand where you can hire cars is next door. The Jesselton pier where you... more

The view from my room which is 13th floor is awesome especially at night.Although the breakfast only got limited variety but it is still acceptable for me.There has a chinese food shop nearby selling fish head and fishball noodle, were strong recommended from me, worth to eat at its reasonable price. The must visit location is Kotakinabalu Park. Try not... more

The rooms are clean and the staff all are very nice and helpful. I surely will stay there... more

I stayed with a friend at the hotel for 3 days this october and i can say that i was satisfied with the experience. The superior room was a bit small but considering the price it was understandable. The daily breakfast was quite good and although there was no wi-fi available in the room, the front desk provided me with... more

We stayed here twice for 3 nights in total on either side of a trip to Mulu National Park. Overall, we had a very good experience. The staff were absolutely lovely - always smiling, polite, efficient and friendly. We had one problem with the toilet blocking one evening and literally within 5 minutes of ringing Reception, it was fixed. We... more
