“Rather tired resort hotel”

This hotel (being managed, not owned by Hilton) is very tired, and not especially clean. Some parts of the hotel (e.g. the verandas) were missing sections of roof, and were clearly in need of some prompt maintenance. As we flew in to Kuching I was sat next to a local on the plane who pulled a face when I said we were coming here and he said that the place was looking"tired". We rate this hotel a 5 star for it's location in the jungle and the amenities they are able to provide their guests. Please remember where you are and how remote so don't expect all the modern technology. We recommend that you take a tour with the locals up the river to see the falls and experience a riverside BBQ.... More

“ok resort”

We had spent one night at a tribal longhouse. The next night we spent at the Batang Ai Longhouse Resort. It was ok. The rooms were ok, the service was ok, the food was ok. I couldn't figure out why people would travel to this for a vacation. Had a better time and ate better at the tribal longhouse.
