The hotel could be considered good for one night stay, between the gaps of the transited flights. The room was clean (no complain at all), location is good (distance from KLIA, but far away from other places of interests). However, the service and food served... still a lot of room for improvement. There were only few rows of shop lots... more

We stayed here for 1 night while we waited for our next flight out . The hotel was ok , it was clean and comfy , the restaurant food was good . They even gave us a take away breakfast , since we were leaving so early the next morning. The surrounding area was different , we obviously stood out... more

This is just under a three star hotel. It is in the neighborhood of the Kuala Lumpur (KL) airport which is it's main reason for existence. We got a "deal" at RM210 for one night by calling the hotel directly. As usual in Malaysia this is about double what the hotel should be charging. The room was clean with no... more

We booked the hotel for a few hours sleep between flights in the Low Cost Carrier Terminal. We had to pay a high price due to the Moto GP. The transport from the hotel that we asked for did not arrive. The room we had was adequate and quite big but decidedly shabby and in need of a face-lift. No... more

We had to book a room at the Empress as the other airport hotels were full due to the motoGP. The room was very clean, basic but more than adequate for an overnight stopover. I would not want to stay more than one night as it is too basic for a holiday base. The furniture was a bit dated and... more

We stayed here overnight as a transit stop between flights, and found it more than adequate. We originally booked at the De Palma Inn but, on arrival, found it very grotty, our rooms were not ready and the staff were most unhelpful. An onlooker suggested the Empress as a better option so we hopped a cab. What a difference! The... more

Unless you want your belongings stolen! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and arrived in KL very late at night and had not booked any accomodation. Empress Hotel was our only option. In the morning, at about 8.30am, housekeeping buzzed the door to clean the room (a little too early perhaps)?? At about 9.30am, we went to the... more

The internet pictures looked great, but once we got there.. the rooms and blankets looked rather worn. Not that good... kinda musky room smell. Kinda gross The breakfast was horrible.... porrige... mushy and cold hash browns.... the noodle dishes oily and gross. Fruit plate wasn't replenished.... I couldn't even eat anything... My wife just took and bite and left... Then... more

I recently stayed at this hotel in Sepang in order to go to the 2006 F1 Malaysian Grand Prix. Found hotel through Asiarooms but had to book direct with the hotel due to a price increase for the race weekend. Hotel was easy to reach by taxi from KLIA. All the staff were very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and... more
