This was our fourth visit to the Maldives; previously we have visited Veligandu, Mirihi and Komandoo. I chose this island because of its size as I wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday. At the time of booking I was not told about the construction of the extra 17 water villas and when I read about it in a TripAdviser review I... more

Stayed for a week here for our honeymoon the first week in April. A lovely relaxed island, friendly staff and a real 'homely' feel about the place - we didnt want to leave!! Direct flight from Gatiwck with Thomson on time and okay. The first glimpse of the Maldives from above was awesome! Upon arrival it appeared that as it... more

A great 3 star island. Food fantastic, not too repetative as some reviews have said. Gained half a stone in two weeks, so that should say something. The reef is the best yet seen within the Maldives. You want to come face to face with a large shark, heres the place to snorkel. Numerous fish, turtles, moray eels and rays... more

Fantastic island . 3 couples 40 plus from England spent a week in this beautiful resort . We all stayed in the Beach Bungalows directly on the sand only a few meters from the water . The bungalows were spacious and cleaned a few times daily . Staff were extremely friendly, helpful throught the resort . The food was exellent... more

The island itself is gorgeos, the smell of wilderness and the scenery. However,it is very crowded, with many beach villas packed very close together. It is packed with Germans, who all seem to know each other. So, next time we will definately pick an island with more privacy. On arrival, we got a musty villa and switched to another, only to face a bed... more

We’ve just got back from a very good holiday here and although I looked at reviews here before I booked, some of the more recent ones would have put me off going, which would have been a pity. I think it is very important to be sure of what you want before booking. This resort is not the Taj Exotica.... more

I have just returned from Thulhagiri on Monday evening We had excellent check in at Gatwick First Choice flight no delays Pleasant 25 mins transfer by speed boat to the Island. As I have followed some of the reviews on this site felt it safer to request in advance beach bungalows opposite end of island to building works and also... more

This resort was recommended by our travel agent as a reasonably priced resort in high season. We paid $900 per night for an all inclusive water bungalow. However, I don't think this represented great value for money. Good points: My husband did 4 dives which he said were the best he had done - manta rays, sharks, the works. (Mind... more

We stayed here for 3 days last week. My travel agent recommended we stay here and we booked about 6 months ago and paid $650AUD per night, full board. The water bungalows and beaches looked stunning. They are building more water bungalows but you hardly noticed unless you stood directly infront of them. You dont hear any construction and there... more

Yes, there were building works near the restaurant. But I don’t think than it’s “shame”. The Island, the ocean, the resort were perfect – so, I cannot rate lower than 5. If you're looking for a flawless Paradise, then you should wait until the end of the construction or choose a more expensive resort. We did not buy a tourist... more
