Before starting , i would just suggest everyone this resort. Its just so beautiful cant even imagine till the time you do not see it yourself. Just got back on Monday. Flew with Monach no prob for me as only short but husband felt a bit restricted, tried to upgrade at airport but was full up. Staff polite smiley and helpful. Having just returned from a week at the Adaaran resort on Meedhupparu - I fail to understand why anyone would write a negative review for this resort. OK so we had to wait for the seaplane but the experience and views we got once airborne certainly made up for any wait - the colour of the sea, the coral islands... more

the sea plane is pretty exciting... and the views are like looking back on the earth - amazing... brochure pictures do not do the maldives justice!! I implore you to ignore some of the negative(largely unjust)comments made about this island...they're just not true! Me and my wife set out to this island on our Honeymoon at the end of September.
