Having just returned from a week at the Adaaran resort on Meedhupparu - I fail to understand why anyone would write a negative review for this resort. the sea plane is pretty exciting... and the views are like looking back on the earth - amazing... brochure pictures do not do the maldives justice!! The colours are a kaleidescope of blues and azure greens.... the resort is pretty, very relaxed and staff are friendly... shoes not needed anywhere really. I implore you to ignore some of the negative(largely unjust)comments made about this island...they're just not true! Me and my wife set out to this island on our Honeymoon at the end of September.
