This is not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. That accolade can safely be given to a shocking B&D (Pensionat) in St. Denis, France. I actually didn't stay there because it was so bad. What a rip off! This is not the usual standard which Mauritius offers. The rooms were dismal, signs of water damage, needing some TLC. meals were shocking. please spend Rs 1000 more and get some luxury. I was booked in for a week, but relocated after the first night. more

I stayed at klondike for 5 days in 2006 with my husband. It was our wedding anniversary. The staff was very caring.
