We loved this riad, and didn't want to leave. Riad Al Khansaa is in a perfect location in the centre of the walled medina, close to the main square, beach, ramparts, fish market and street vendors. Everything is within easy walking distance, but the riad is a peaceful sanctuary within the busy medina. The architecture is stunning, traditional Moroccan, with bright, colourful, Moroccan furnishings. It has a peaceful environment with a central courtyard and fountain, and a large open fireplace. Rooms on each of the four levels look down onto the courtyard, and up to a soaring rooftop atrium. It's lofty, and at first sight, awe-inspiring. On the rooftop terrace you have a 360 degree view of the medina and the Atlantic ocean. The staff are friendly and efficient, and you can have breakfast served either on the terrace or in the courtyard. The rooms are very reasonably priced. We highly recommend this riad, and look forward to returning one day. more
