The proper name for this hotel is the Ocean Vagabond Guesthouse. However Planet Kitesurf call this the 'Windsurfers Boutique' on their website I guess so that up until know you couldn't find any reviews before booking. Well here's mine for what it's worth so that at least you're now informed.

If you've seen this through Planet Kitesurf's website then CAUTION as most of their details are misleading. I now know from experience that it is 2km from the kitespot (NOT 0.1 miles), a good 20 min walk. This is a real hassle if you have to do it everyday with kit. Club Mistral have very limited storage space. The beach in front of this hotel and for 1 km along is reserved for swimmers only.

If you're going to Essaouira for the first time to kitesurf then look into staying nearer the kitespot at the other side of the bay. The Atlas Hotel is a fantastic hotel and is the same price or cheaper, and you can kite directly from their own private part of the beach. If you're looking... more
