Just got back to New York after a week in Morocco, and wanted to immediately recommend this place to future travelers. Mari and her staff could not have been more welcoming, the charming riad is perfectly situated in the medina for exploration, the breakfasts on the roof terrace were delicious, and the view from the roof-top observation deck was stupendous... We spent 6 nights here in January and had the place to ourselves on 5 of them. Our room wasn't really large enough to spend non-sleeping time in, but there was a (communal) sitting room on the same floor where we sat to read on wet afternoons. This is not a luxury riad, it's more homely, but very comfortable and... More

Nicolas and his staff were really friendly, professional and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the riad and it was ideally situated in the Medina, but also close to the beach and the port. Our only criticism was the difficulty we had in getting the shower to produce hot water - a few times we had to call in... More

We had a lovely three day stay at the Riad Marosko, Nicolas was very helpful in recommending places to continue our journey on and Marie was most welcoming and charming. Breakfast on the terraced roof was delicious. Lovely place to stay, comfortable and with very nice staff. I would really recommend it, it is centrally located but very peaceful. More

We were a family of four. Couple with two adult children. The Riad was a wonderful place to stay in Essaouira. Marie, our host at the Riad, was wonderful and provided us with some great information and recommendations. I would highly recommend this Riad if you are planning a visit to Essaouira. More

We had a wonderful time in this Riad in Essaouira. It was just around the corner from the bus stop and within a short stroll of all the places of interest in Essaouira and had a wonderful few from the roof. The staff were brilliant and so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was incredible and almost like... More

Very nice Riad, well located in Essaouira. The bus station “Supratours” is located near to the riad which is very convenient (we came from Marrakech with the bus). 3 floors, each floor with a different color, terrace with an amazing view on the sea, bedrooms are very cute (duplex), comfortable and very clean. Nicolas, the manager, is very friendly and... More

The small riad is well located on a quiet street within the walls of the medina. The staff us at the bus station and took the time to show us the maps and tell us a little about Essouira. The rooms were basic but comfortable, only issue is we had a twin room and there wasnt a lot of room... More

I don't see why anyone would want to stay anywhere else in Essaouira. From the top this Ryad seems to be the tallest building in town and the views from the terrace are fantastic, especially together with breakfast. The staff are very friendly and host Aurelie knows what you can/want/should do and where best to do it. Follow her suggestions! More

My mother and I spent three nights in August at the Riad Marosko. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived in the patio. Aurelie's big smile and nice words made us feel at home. We later met Aurelie's husband and daughter Lila. What a nice family!. My mother and I know the city of Essaouira well, and thought the... More
