This hotel is an old hotel like so many hotels in Swakopmund. This one however has been kept in excellent condition and is very clean and all new linen and lovely furniture. It is not dated like the others. The entrance reminds you of a traditional European hotel. Its beautiful and romantic. The hotel is not near the beach, but... More

Went in 2011 on Honeymoon. Very helpful staff. Room was large with very high celings and typical old architecture. TV a bit dodgy but we didn't bother much with that anyway. Minibar always stocked, champagne, flowers and chocolates laid on. A very beautiful hotel and worth every cent, although reasonably priced considering we stayed in the Honeymoon Suite. Busyish main... More

Very nice hotel near the centre of town and within easy walking distance of the beach. The rooms are large, well appointed, comfortable and very, very clean as is the whole hotel. Only minor grumble is the traffic noise in the road facing rooms but fortunately traffic gets very quiet late at night.

It was my second visit to Eberwein and I was just as pleased this time. I always get quick and friendly reply's on my emails so booking is easy and efficient. It is an old but nicely renovated hotel in Jugend style situated a little bit off the coast and center but not too long for both being within walking... More

Hotel Eberwein is a warm and friendly hotel with old-time charm and modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. The only draw back was the lack of WiFi. While it did exist, it did not in the room itself. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

We take clients on safari in Namibia, and the Swakopmund/Walvis Bay area is always on our itinerary. We've stayed 3 years in a row at this beautiful old world European style hotel in Swakopmund. Clients love the huge, very clean rooms and baths. Beds are very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and warm covers. There's a bar on the first... More

This hotel is absolutely perfect in all respects. It is scrupulously clean and the staff are 200% customer focussed. If you can, take the upgraded rooms with baths, high decorated plaster ceilings and exquisite bed linen. We were there in August and needed heat, which was available. If you require a/c there is none but fans are provided. If the... More

On our visit from Vancouver Canada, we were greeted by a professional and most helpful staff. The hotel is truly immaculate everywhere. Breakfast was perfectly fresh and served in a lovely lounge. Rooms and bathrooms are large. This is a boutique styled hotel that's centrally located and a great value. We highly recommend the Hotel Eberwein.

This is definitely worth the stay. It is centrally located and there is no need to use your car. They have secure parking under the hotel. (Just ask for a parking upon check-in) The rooms are spacious and all have a beautiful view of the town. They even have a little sun deck for those seeking some rays! The lobby... More
