During our three-week-trip through Namibia we stayed three nights in the Secret Garden. Peter and his wife did an outstanding job - we felt like home right away. This is a great guesthouse, clean, modern, cosy and good breakfasts. What really lets it down is the attitude of the owners, they are extremely sullen and rude and really fail to make you feel welcome. more

My friend and I stayed for 5 nights at the Secret Garden. We enjoyed the place very much. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, breakfast exellent .... what more do you want? Nice place, shame about the owners! Its as though they dont want anyone to stay there. Room was lovely, but the man in charge was sullen and terribly rude. It was Fawlty Towers without the humour. Not a smile - not a smile to welcome us, not a smile during the stay, not a smile when we left. more
