The best part of our stay was the friendly breakfast staff. The owner was rude when we requested that the two single beds be made up as a double, the tea and coffee facilities in the room consisted of one of each tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was a choice of some curly cheese and dry looking cooked meats or eggs.... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Adler on a small-group tour and this was one of the better places we landed. The hotel is a very pleasant, modern, white building with black trim. Rooms are done in brown tones with African-themed bedspreads, upholstery, shower curtains, etc., and though that may not sound like the last word in interior design, in... more

A comfortable no frills hotel on Beach Road with secure parking- unfortunately the sea view has been blocked by the new Aquarium and Fisheries Ministry but still a quiet pleasant base for a few days. We swam in the sea, warmer than the English Channel(just) and walked to supper although most people use their cars. Swakopmund is a great break... more
