I stayed at this hotel for one night as I had to attend a function of a relation. Given the political situation of Port Harcourt (kidnapping; vigilante groups etc) I was very nervous about coming here but the seriousness of the function left me with no choice but to attend. Driving from the airport along the muddy roads littered with... more

I just returned from my trip staying at this hotel. Pros: The room is what you’ll expect from a Le Meridien. Very nicely furnished and comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling clean. The staff were very courteous and friendly and attended to every need Cons: Breakfast was very basic, sometimes cold with very little variety, dinner a little better but not... more

I have stayed in this wonderful hotel before. Like most hotels in Nigeria, i expected to return and see the place deteriorating due to poor maintenance cultutre. However, i came to meet the hotel much better than i had left it. The fragrance upon checkin was awesome, i found out that the hotel brand had just introduced a new signature... more

Loved everything, from the deco to the customer's service. If i had a complaint it was that i was so thoroughly spoilt, i didn't want to leave. more

I was at this hotel on a business trip, on my previous stays i had stayed at other hotels (like to test), but decided to save the best for last which was my initiall feeling. I guess i was right to say it is the best. The services (from staff especially) are no where compared to other hotels. Though i... more

I visited this wonderful boutique, picturesque and very magnificient hotel in Port-Harcourt, during my last visit to Nigeria. I had a wonderful and memmorable time there. The staff are warm and very helpful. The food is also great, It was my first time eating 'Moi Moi' and Goat meat pepper soup ( a N igerian delicacy) and that experience meant... more

I stayed at this hotel amost 3 weeks and everything is very expensive. To have my laundry done was approximately 60 US dollars and the restaurant food is ok, but not a big selection. Power goes out several times a day and the generators are very noisy. The water starts off dirty but if you let it run, it clears... more

With a husband that works in Port Harcourt, wife in U.S., the telephone service was awful. The wife tried calling multiple times to get no one answering the telephone main line to the hotel. This occured for one year. When someone did answer they were polite but did not come back online to take a message if the room did... more

I had stay in other hotels in Port Harcourt on my visits but staying in Le Meridien is something different. The view of of the hotel is something great, the architectural design and finishing were upto standards. On my visit there I felt at home the way the staff attended to me and were very hospitable. It just reminded me... more
