OVERPRICED, falling apart, tatty rooms with kettles that don't work and lights with no bulbs, charging the price that real luxury hotels command. We arrived from hard camping in the mountains looking forward to two nights of luxury. We were met by rude and uninformed staff. Few of the activities that had been promised were available, the rooms were dirty and the food incredibly expensive. We can't begin to imagine why Explore continues to use this resort. Did some great diving here out at the Dimaniyat Islands, which are a nature reserve - worth the trip for the diving. Not for the hotel, which is tired and unimpressive, although the rooms are ok. They did have a very pretty camel there though! more
