Met some friends on Contadora and we stayed in the Contadora Island Inn. The Island is small and the resturants are few. However, if you want to escape to a true tropical paradise, then this is the place to go. The people, the beaches, the rum, and the cuisine are awesome. got to contadora island after spending 3 days in san blas,panama. what can I say? if san blas is a poor man's fiji then contadora is a poor man's hawaii..the beaches are pristine, calm and cool just like maui's so there you go. there are 5 beaches on the island all of them accesible by walking no more than 15... more

My husband and I, and our 7 yr old son, stayed here for 3 days. The island is small and very mellow. It has pristine, EMPTY beaches with clear water. You can go to the beach, boating, snorkel, dive, fish, or do nothing at all. There are just a few places to eat and the cheap, local ones are better... more
