The location is a little difficult to find at first, but if you are going to the hotel directly from Airport and take a Colectivos, which is a small bus, just tell the drive the hotel name and he will take you there without any problem. Despite the name this is a hotel not a hostal. Pros: Excellent location a couple of blocks from the main tourist street. Great value for money. I thought cheap! Large, spacious and clean room. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Hot shower. Secure left luggage if you stay overnight at the lake. They can arrange lake tours and other tourist trips.... more

Los Pinos Inn is a nice hostal in the center of Puno. The rooms are simple, but practical and clean. It feels more like a hotel than a hostal. The breakfast is above average as well. Warm water around the clock. more

More like a hotel than a hostel. Our room was really nice, if a little cold (although you can´t really escape that in Puno). It was very clean and there was always lots of hot water and good water pressure. The rooms do have terrestrial tv although the reception is not the best and the channels are all in spanish.... more
