We were a group of eight requiring four rooms which had been reserved and paid for in advance. Upon arriving we learned that our reservations were still in place, however, nothing had been paid by the travel agencey, Bargin Peru. The staff very kindly and patiently worked with us to sort it out as quickly as possible and got us... more

The intiqua hotel was a wonderful value for the money! During our stay we had some difficulties with arrangements made by our tour company. Carmen and her staff were extremely helpful and professional!! If looking for lodging during your visit to Lake Titicaca, I would highly recommend this hotel. Did I mention Carmen was a gem...?? I LOVED Intiqa Hotel! Everything was perfect, comfortable beds, great shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure, and delicious breakfast. Staff was incredible --assisted us with tours of the Lake and willing to help with tours of the Colca Canyon..It is a newer hotel and decorated nicely. I would highly recommend Intiqa--they made has feel very welcomed and... more

This was probably my favorite hotel out of the 9 we stayed at during out 16 night Peru trip in June 2009. The room was very spacious, wonderfully decorated, nice wood floors, very clean, excellant price, very nice breakfast, and great location! I have nothing negative to say about this place EXCEPT the view from our room. I highly recommend... more

The rooms were clean, beds were super comfy ! Bathrooms were standard - our bathroom had a window that was not covered with any type of curtains (which was odd to me). Anyone outside could defnintely see into it, so I just covered it with a towel. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We were worried about our Lan... more

Puno itself is not the cleanest or nicest town and the lake smelled and looked terrible. In hindsight, we wish we would have found a hotel out on the lake or on one of the islands. However, if your plans take you through Puno, the Intiqa is a wonderful and comfortable safe haven away from the busy streets. The room... more

This hotel was a welcome rest between long bus rides. It is clean, and comfortable and feels relatively new. When we stayed they didnt have a web page or online booking facility at all... we showed up and snagged one of the last rooms (its not as big as it seems from other web sites). Breakfast was misable, but they... more

The best hotel we stayed in Peru; friendly and personable service. The altitude got to us and in addition to the traditional mate de coca, they offered us some free oxygen. The rooms where well maintained and spacious and breakfast buffet was very good. Definitely a place to stay. more

After having a long bus ride from Arequipa to Puno, we were picked up by Vilma who personally accompanied us to our hotel. This service was included in our hotel package. Vilma also set up a tour of Uros Islands for us the same afternoon. Hot coca tea was served immediately upon arrival to the hotel. Hotel location was great.... more

This is a good hotel in Puno, which is needed as the town isn't that nice. The staff were really friendly and helpful - particularly when I arrived with food poisoning and then the buses/trains to Cusco were cancelled due to stike! I also saw them taking coca tea to people's rooms and providing oxygen, as well as phoning for... more
