Stayed here for two nights, the hotel is in old building but it seems more retro than dated. It can be quite cold but the heaters in the room worked brilliantly. Yes there is some noise from the playground nearby but that only on for so long. Breakfast was included but pretty limited and there is wifi with different codes... More

I stayed at this hotel for two days. It was part of my tour but based on the average price of $40 shown I would say it is good value. The rooms were decent but needed to be updated. The bed was not very comfortable. The wifi was horrible but the lobby had a computer for guest use. The breakfast... More

Other reviewers have pointed out some of the negative points of this place: old property, cold, breakfast could be better (better-quality bread would make an enormous difference here), unreliable internet connection, noise from adjoining rec center, a rather dark and lugubrious aspect. I can add another: a slight but persistent odor of mold in the rooms (because of the absence... More

We stayed here with our tour group for two nights with a break inbetween to visit Lake Titicaca. The hotel is pretty nice overall, so old it's kinda retro cool and it does feel like an old Italian hotel. All in all it was ok and I'd stay here again, though there's nothing much to see in Puno. Breakfast is... More

The rooms were large and comfortable and with very nice large bathrooms. The common areas (there were quite a few) were nicely decorated and were a nice addition to the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The location was close to main plazas and restaurants.

I stayed there for 3 days. Puno is located at 3800m above sea level. I was sick because of the altitude on the first day. Staff was very helpful. Oxygen bottle avalaible and coca tea in the lobby. There is also a computer you can use in the lobby but it is very slow. Rooms were cleans. A bit noisy... More

Stayed at this hotel before and after our trip to Lake Titacaca. The room was dated, shower didn't have any flow though water was HOT, breakfast good, free WIFI in lobby. Very unbusy so left our bags in our room while doing the host family thing on Amantani Island. Very quiet at night, but forget any quiet during the day.... More

I loved this hotel but mostly because of the lovely elderly male staff who were very friendly, accommodating and funny. The rooms were quite large, dated but clean and a reasonable sized bathroom. Somehow the hotel gave me the feeling I was visiting my grandparents home! We had free wifi in the lobby and while we were there they were... More
