By far the most luxurious options in the area but with some serious issues. First of all getting there involves flying into the dreadful city of Juliaca which is up there with Kimberley in South Africa as the world's most depressing city (not to mention crime-ridden). As you make your way to the hotel you'd have to put up with... more

This new hotel, nestled on a peninsula into lake Titikaka, well away from not-so-attractive Puno, this exclusive boutique hotel provides utmost luxury. The views from the rooms were astounding, and the rooms themselves offered every facility. We were fortunate to be the only guests when we visited, and the service was unobtrusive and welcoming. The menu in the restaurant was... more

Definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed at and the best choice you can take in Puno and Titicaca Lake. Located in a magical and unique destination, this incredible hotel/resort mixes peace with pleasure in a perfect way. Also, it offers many diverse and fascinating activities at the highest navigable lake in the World. Something I've never seen before is... more

I stayed at Titilaka for four days and it was amazing; i really enjoyed it. It is a place where you can discover Peruvian culture and their people. The hotel is really impressive. Each room is overlooking the lake and you can see the most incredible sunrise. It is a fabulous hotel with great people. more

We stayed at many excellent hotels during our holiday in Peru, but this one outrated them all. The room with a picture window overlooking the lake, chaise longues beside the window, a free mini bar, excellent walk in shower and a huge bath, was perfect. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotions were good quality and unlimited The public rooms were scenic,... more

I would rate this as my favorite hotel in the world, surpassing my previous favorite the Furama in Da Nang, Vietnam. Mind you, I don't rate it as the most luxurious in the world, or the most amenities, etc, just my favorite because of the overall experience. Tikilaka got it all, it's luxurious. The staff catered to our every whim.... more

As we were driven in the dark from Juliaca airport through Puno to Hotel Titilaka I wondered where we were going. In the morning I understood. Right on Lake Titicaca. The hotel is all glass, floral arrangements, candles, unusual art, and comfortable furnishings and the best service anywhere. The waiters and staff are friendly and efficient. For one night we... more

Really the best of my trip. Located in the southern part (Aymara side) of Lake Titicaca so not too touristy, very private and quiet. Panoramic windows all over, great décor, heated floors, delicious food and wine, happy hours, tea time, local guides from the Uros who introduce you to their mom and sisters when visiting the Islands, sundowners at the... more

Having stayed at 2 other Inkaterra hotels during our stay in Peru and not being particularly impressed we were not holding out great hope for our stay at the Titilaka. Thankfully we were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Having taken the 9 or so hour train journey from Cusco to Puno (which was amazing) we arrived as the... more

We were at the Titilaka Hotel on December 29 for two nights. This hotel spoiled me with the best hotel service I have ever experienced. Titilaka Hotel will be for me the standard measure for any other hotel in the future. We arrived at the Julica airport where our guide Marlene and her driver were waiting for us. She indicated... more
