This hotel was in a central location in Trujillo. Staff was very nice and spoke excellent English. There were able to get us an extra room at check in at a great price. Room was clean and a good size. I would stay here again. Hotel is near El Mochica restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch.

We had two rooms for the five of us. My three young boys (raised in the states) were comfortable, but my wife (from peru) was not. The hotel was in a nice location but the rooms need updating/cleaning. The staff was nice...but the restaurant was terrible.

The hotel is really beautiful but since we got there it was a bad experience. We stay there for 2 night before we decide to go to an other hotel. the room didn't have any ventilation, the fan was way to small and didn't help at all, we had a window with a view to a dirty wall and trash.... More

The building is great. The reviews were great. We were looking forward to a little bit of luxury after a week in the mountains. Sadly our experience went from bad to worse. Perhaps this is the place where we were 'unlucky'. Firstly, we made our reservation online and had booked a 'matrimonial' room. Upon arrival, we were lead to a... More

My review of this hotel is tainted by the fact that almost immediately upon arrival I became very sick with the revenge of the Lord of Sipan. After a miserable night alone with chills, fever, 5 lomotil pills, I finally called the front desk to arrange for a doctor to come to my room. The one young lady from the... More

My wife and I have been here for 6 weeks. This is our second visit ,having stayed for one week last year. We have found the staff very attentive and pleasant.Several speak English. When we arrived our car had a broken accelerator cable. They contacted an honest mechanic who installed a new cable in about a half hour and charged... More

pros....Very good response to e-mail enquiry and booking. Picked me up from the bus station no problem. The hotel itself is well presented though i was a little disappointing with the room given the price range. Staff are very friendly. Free internet works fine. Cons.....A little bit far from the plaza and a little too far for a comfortable walk... More

We arrived late in the evening by plane in Trujillo. We were planning to go to Hotel Peregrino, but the taxidriver said that that hotel didn't exist anymore. We asked to be taken to Suite Plaza Hotel Residencial instead, but after a phonecall from our driver we were met in front of that hotel by someone of the staff who... More

After 2-1/2 weeks in Peru, I have experienced many different hotels. In most of them I have slept poorly and had variable service. This hotel was my final night in Peru after a horrid experience in a town 1-1/2 hours away. Booking the hotel was great. Online reservation was fast, efficient, and they responded quickly to ask what my flight/bus... More

This hotel is OK but is ready for a major renovation. The weather was unusually cold when we were in Trujillo and the hotel has no heating. The free internet access was useful - though we had to pay S2 for the four sheets of paper to print out boarding passes! Breakfast was OK but nothing special
