In all fairness, Solana was a bit of a last minute booking after having secured accomodation in Puerto Galera and Boracay. We stayed at the Solana and had a wonderful time.  It has a perfect location.  One problem is the 107 steps you must go down to get to the resort---and then climb up when you leave.
