Stayed there 3 nights on two separate occasions. The first stay was a 2-bed unit with hardwood floor. The flooring must have been heavily waxed cause my female guest (and myself) nearly lost our footing once we stepped inside the room. The shower had adequate pressure and the hot water was fine, but drained very slowly. The second stay was... more

I enjoyed this place given its proximity to major shopping areas and restaurants, and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Although it is not considered a "high end" place, I thought that the room I contracted, a two-bed double, though adequate, was a bit dingy and dark and needed some upgrade in the furniture and towels.... more

Stayed at El Cielito Inn for almost 2 months...yes. Almost two months From January 12 till March 11. A decent place to stay in my standard. You got what you've paid for. I'm usually out and I just need a place to sleep and take a shower. My room looks like a dormitory. A small TV, two beds, a bathroom... more

Good Hotel for reasonable price. Good location within walking distance to Glorietta Mall, SM and Greenbelt. This Hotel is good for 1-3 Nights .... nothing special but OK. Some rooms need renovations. Friendly and helpful staff and guard at the frontdesk. All in all a good, friendly hotel. more

As a lower middle class FILIPINO who has been to many hotels in the country including budget hotels in the provinces, I was very dissappointed with El Cielito Inn Makati. Price and Location At 1,990 pesos for a standard room twin sharing and without breakfast, this is not the best option. Location is close to Greenbelt, Glorietta, Landmark and SM... more

If your intention is to shop 'til you drop in Makati and you just need a place to sleep in for another day of shopping then this is the place for you! The room we stayed in (rm 313 - twin bed) was nice, clean, spacious and modern. According to the hotel staff this room has just been recently renovated,... more

Fantastic. stayed in makati for 5 days and did some shopping. The Hotel is almost directly outside Landmark, Glorietta centres. Price was incredible for 1400 pesos. I'll definitely stay there again the next time I'm on holiday at makati. The staff and reception staff are all beautiful and friendly. Renny Payne. more

If you are an upper middle class American (over 50) NOT on a budget, I would definately NOT recommend this hotel. The air conditioner was VERY noisy and did not function well. The hallway carpets were incredibly dirty. The linens were cheap and the atmosphere noisy and dingy. Younger people on a budget would find it fine. more

deprimente
