i have travelled to several countries and the philippines is one of my favorites. in my trips i always make it a point to go through my checklist before i check-in to a hotel. i found gic tourist inns o the web and when i got there i was impressed by the warm welcome and the spledid hospitality of the staff. i stayed for a week in their makati location which is very conveniently located. its just a few minutes ride to the financial and commercial districts. gic is a small, but very clean and private place. the rates are great, too. i know i will keep coming back to that place. more power gic! more

I have just returned from a 10 day holiday in the Philippines. My second visit to the Philippines and a wonderful experience both times. This time I stayed in Makati in a very small Budget Inn hardly mentioned on the WWW . I am an Australian woman in my mid 40's but with care and the assistance of my brother's in laws survived what could have been trouble for a single woman unable to speak the main language - Tagalog. In my review I would mainly like to mention the Inn so as other travelers may have the same experience there that I had. GIC Tourist Inn 9555 Kalayaan Ave Makati City, conviently located to Ayala shopping mall think about 200Php approx $5 Australian Dolliars by taxi, Market Market, not far away, plus the local shopping areas. It cost me about 20 Php (approx .50 cent) for a tricyle to my in-laws which was very cheap and convienent. The Inn was very small but quite comfortable, no creepy crawlies, flushing toilet, lovely hot and cold shower, airconditioning, and t.v. I... more
