Today a 25% corkage charge was requested for ordering a pizza from Yellow Cab. a guesthouse has never asked me to pay for ordering a pizza. Is this an acceptable business practice or a perfect way to ruin your stay and impression of a place forever? more

What makes this pension house exceptional is the courteous & well-trained staff. It offers ordinary but clean and comfortable doubles and trebles. Room have a/c, mini-ref, 14" cable tv (signal wasn't clear), hot & cold shower, toiletries. Rooftop restaurant offers affordable meals, & a nice view of the city, especially at night. yeah, i stayed there twice i went home May 2007 and 2008 recommended by one of my best friend. i find the place commendable also since the location is just right around fuente osmena circle where you can walk to shop and eat at restaurants of your choice. and besides the room rate is dependable and very nice employees especially... more

I really liked the room and the whole atmosphere. It was clean and the rooftop terrace is really nice to hang out. To be honest the food wasn't that great. Friendly staff, quite big and functional room with a distinct smell of disinfectant. Rooms are absolutely devoid of charme, but beds a comfortable. Roof restaurant is OK . Good if you need a cheap and clean place to stay. more

Everything is as I expected for a Pension house in this price range in this country. Convenient location. Clean room, decent mattress and plenty of hot water. Staff spoke excellent English. Street out front has little traffic at night, but young men on motorcycles with minimal mufflers like to speed on it. Doesn't bother me because I sleep with ear... more

Ignore the Lonely Planet's description of this place! First, let's start with the good before getting onto the bad and the ugly. Good: our room (401) was clean and spacious.
