Hotel Grand Master, Dej. Romania.
This is a new hotel ( as of 2009 ) on the main road from Cluj to Dej and points north. It is off the main road. The front desk area and restaurant ( which is good and reasonable) is very modern, and nice architecturally. The rooms were typical of European hotels, not large but comfortable, and very clean. There is not much to do in Dej, but this hotel makes a good stopping place. There is in room internet connection that actually worked very well. However the phone system was not yet up and running. This hotel is good value for the money. more
