A good base for exploring the lovely Cluj. The staff are there the whole time to check you in, though did seem distracted at times, taking a while to stop chatting and deal with your request. The rooms are nice, but try to avoid going in the 8-bed dorm directly above the kitchen, as it's noisy when people are downstairs... more

I was a little reluctant at first to enter Romania as an US citizen. This was my first stop, and I promptly found this place and fell in love. The hostel is set behind one of the main streets, centrally located within stumbling distance of all of the clubs, restaurants and a number of shops. 2km away from the train... more
