We just spent a month living in the Hotel Savoy and, being away from home, it wasn't a bad substitute. The hotel was recently renovated so it's virtually brand new and the style is supposedly that of 1930's art deco. The decor throughout is mainly wood but the main lobby and bar area has leather couches and marble floors.
Our room wasn't standard: it's the only one like it in that hotel (I suppose it was assigned to us because of the length of our stay). Apart from having a queen-sized bed, we also had a sitting area, which we accessed with a couple of stairs. The view from said sitting area wasn't the best (it was of the apartment building next door), but if we looked to the front, we were able to see the main cathedral in the centre of town (which is gorgeous when it's lit up at night), as well as the park and the canal that runs through the town centre.
The room came with the standard amenities: mini bar, safe, bathrobes, towels (hand, face and bath), bedroom...
