If you have business in the south of Moscow there is now a real alternative to those very expensive city centre hotels. The Katerina Park may not be so luxurious internally as some city centre hotels but it is modern, very clean and by Moscow standards offers good value for money. FOR ME AN ADDED BONUS WAS THE FACT THAT... More

Dear guest, I am glad to hear you find our hotel modern, very clean and offering good value for money! We are also very glad to hear you like the non smoking policy, our hotels being the only 100% non smoking hotels in Moscow. Global City is a very nice shopping center – it’s a good tip to fellow travelers.... More

This is an OK hotel, but don't expect for a real 4-star hotel, rather a good 3-star hotel. It is far away from the city center and Red Square, the trip by metro takes around 30-40 minutes. It is mainly a hotel for organised groups who is travelling by coach. No shops in that area, but still it's a mall... More

Dear guest, thank you for your review. Our location 30 min south of Moscow is no secret and the mall you mention, Global City, is very good. There are also two more big shopping centers within 500m: Prazhskiy pasazh and Elektroray. Regarding level of English at restaurant - we are actively working on improving - can always be better! The hotel is good. It is clean, up to date and efficient but the ambiance isn't cosy. Staff is very friendly and service oriented in contrast to most other Russian hotels. The rooms are clean and the refridge is filled with some (non-alcoholic) beverages and snacks which are included in the price. Spending a few nights is OK but the... More

Dear guest, thank you for taking time to review our hotel. It is good to hear that you found it clean and staff friendly. We don't aim for creating a place for an "evening out" - we would like to offer a cozy, home like atmosphere. We will look into how to make the hotel more cozy! Thank you for... More

Dear guest, I am really sad to hear you were not happy with your stay. If only you would have told us during your stay - we would have changed the mattress and helped you to regulate the temperature in room. Many of our guests appreciate our firm beds, some prefer softer ones – if you let us know your... More

We stayed at Katerina Park in Moscow in July and really liked it. We booked it off of booking.com and got a great price especially for Moscow. It's in an alright location, but about a 5-7 mins walk from the metro. There are 4 exit/entrances to the metro station so make a note of which one is the closest. We... More

I stayed at the Katerina Park for 4 nights in mid-November 2011. It's a pleasant, well-kept budget hotel similar to a Comfort Inn or a Super 8 in the U.S. Here are a few specifics. LOCATION. Like other reviewers have noted, this hotel is not exactly in the middle of things in Moscow. However, it is definitely within walking distance... More

I am surprised to read such negative reviews on this hotel as I am finding it to be delightful. I am staying at the Katerina now and using their wonderful free wifi. I have lived in Russia for 16 years now and travel is a big part of life here. Folk should check their maps a little better as they... More

I think that major reason for the very high ranking of Katarina Park Hotel is its price/quality ratio, as this is no luxury hotel. As others have indicated, there are some good, exclusive advantages: • The building has been recently refurbished, is very clean and well maintained: always a pleasure to enter into premises still smelling like new. • People... Dear guest, I am glad you liked Katerina Park hotel. You are right that we are not a central luxury hotel – instead we try to deliver, as you write, a good price/quality ratio. Our location, 30 min south of city center by metro, and our competitive rates, are convenient for many but not everybody. It is great that you... More
